Synopsis
The art film is a puppet cartoon, adapted from the historical legend of "Brow-foot ruler avenging his parents". The legend has many records in history books, with similar content. Lu Xun also used it as a blueprint to create the novel "Sword Casting" (the original name "Brow Ruler"). The sword-making master Gan Jiang and Mo Xie's apprentice Heizi killed the sacred cow of King Chu during a bullfight. King Chu was furious and ordered him to be executed. The traitorous officials slandered him. King Chu decided to use Heizi's life to threaten the general and Mo Xie to cast an invisible sword for him. Ganjiang and Mo Xie spent three years of work to create two invisible swords for the king of Chu, one female and one male. However, the generals who had a premonition only gave one of them, and both husband and wife died tragically. When the king of Chu sent troops to hunt down Heizi, Xiaomei (another disciple of Gan Jiang and Mo Xie) and Xiao Meijian Chi (the son of Gan Jiang and Mo Xie), the three managed to escape. Meijianzhi grew to 15 years old, and learned the truth about the tragic death of his parents from the little sister, and decided to avenge his parents and the people of the world.(translated from douban)
